Just wanted to go into detail over Oak Run's rental policy. Rent is due on the 1st day of the month and it is considered late on the 4th day of the month. The Texas Apartment Association (TAA) does not recognize holidays or weekends as a consideration for rent to not be paid on these dates. In addition, if you purchase a money order but fail to turn in it between the above said rental dates, we will not waive the late fees. We will also be implementing the TAA rules regarding consistent late payments. What this means is if you are late and an eviction has been filed on you, but you pay on or before the court date, you will be on a 90 day probationary period. If the following month you are late again, we reserve the right to request the Writ of Possession regardless of the circumstances.
